HR Shared Services Advisor

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 5:00/5:30 PM
Tru Talent is excited to recruit an HR Shared Services Advisor for our client, a well-established facilities managment company with over 35 years of success and still owned by its founders. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing HR team and play a vital role in ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-employment screening for all new hires.
Maintain accurate HR data and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, such as payroll and operations, to ensure seamless processing of employee data.
Manage vetting and re-vetting processes across the company.
Perform right-to-work checks and ensure ongoing compliance with legal standards.
Oversee DBS checks and maintain compliance standards.
Complete employee identification checks and audits.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, including BS7858, BPSS, and CTC.
Support the coordination and delivery of new employee inductions.
Assist with audits and the development of processes to improve HR efficiency.
Handle ad hoc HR projects as required.
Support and mentor colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in an HR or shared services advisory role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level).
A proactive problem solver with the ability to think creatively and offer innovative solutions.
A supportive team player who can work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
