Don’t be fooled, our monthly HR forums are far from dull. Our forums are a gathering of HR directors and managers as well as business leaders and other professionals who come together to sharpen their knowledge and skills around the diverse array of topics within the realm of HR. It’s an experienced and powerful collective whose doors are always open to welcome new participants.
What does the HR Forum look like?
We come together one morning every month in the beautiful Echo building in Bournemouth town centre. We always begin by reconnecting over a great cup of coffee followed by an insightful and engaging talk delivered by a leading HR professional. We then dive into a deep discussion surrounding the given topic that month. Everyone’s opinions and questions are welcomed here, this is a safe space where you can really get into the meat of important areas of the HR function
What is the purpose of the HR Forum?
The purpose of the HR Forum is to empower others with a much greater level of confidence when approaching the sometimes treacherous waters of HR and to also equip HR professionals, business owners and individual professionals with the tools and understanding they need to better navigate this space. Although the HR forum is, as the name suggests, for HR professionals, we have the pleasure of having a diverse group attend our sold-out forums.
Who is welcome to join?
Although the HR forum is designed for HR professionals, we take pride in welcoming all to the forum because we know it's not just HR professionals that face HR issues within the workplace.
How do I get involved?
It's as simple as registering for our HR forum on our website at www.tru-talent.co.uk/hr-forum-request. We’ll then send you an email about the next HR forum, the topic and the amazing speaker that will be delivering the key topic of that session. You’ll be encouraged to follow the link to book your space on the upcoming forum. We strongly suggest you book your place as early as possible as our forums commonly sell out and we’d hate for you to miss the opportunity to join us.
What positive change does the HR Forum facilitate?
Over the last 5 years, we’ve heard time and time again that being part of the HR forum has significantly boosted individuals’ confidence and understanding to allow them to take on often delicate and tricky subjects in the HR field. But not just this, we have seen professionals come away with brand new skills and insights as well as using this safe space to share both the successes and struggles we face in the industry. This safe space really has become invaluable to so many, together we work through current topics and questions while utilising the experience and expertise in the room to find great resolutions and answers to the things we face on a daily basis.
We honour and value HR professionals here at Tru Talent and know that in many cases the positive changes in a business and how we feel at work are most commonly down to the hard work they put in.
